Donation to Libraries

We strongly believe that this is an excellent and positive social corporate responsibility incentive. It is only done with the publisher's consent.

At Gutenberg Press, we always strive to improve our operation in order to offer value for money print service. As a company, we not only care about our clients and staff but are also conscious of the realities around us. During a sales conference, it was suggested that as part of social corporate responsibility the company together with our client's consent, should donate 5 copies of each print run from the make ready process to a local library or institution in Malta.

Being by far the largest printer in Malta we feel the need to help and sustain our society and the education system by supporting libraries. Our executive management has agreed with this positive incentive suggested by one of our employees. We therefore officially approached the Malta Libraries to help us administer and allocate the donated books.

Malta Libraries being a government department manages 56 public libraries across Malta and Gozo, it is the Central Public Library in Floriana and the Gozo Central Public Library in Rabat (Gozo) that hold the largest collections, along with the other 7 Regional Libraries and 44 Branch Libraries.
